the artist sighs as she climbes aboard the overcrowded nintendo fanart bandwagon.

Here i am, doodling mario and luigi stuff. and I haven't played the games since i was like 12, and even then i was not a crazy fan of them. I've never even beaten one! (I suck. I'm what you call a casual gamer. never really practices enough to gain any skill) Whats up with me? Where is this obsession coming from??? whenever im just doodling i keep drifting into drawing nintendo subject matter. Why can't i want to draw original stuff anymore?!! I dont want to be a fanart only person.

:sniff: *tries to convince herself* IM NOT ANOTHER NINTENDO FANGIRL! IM NOT! IM NOT! IM NOT! *tears* :no: im different.

its not really THAT big of a deal to me, just a little weirded out by this pattern.

ps, friends of mine who ARE nintendo fangirls, this is not a statement against you, its more of an artistic identity crisis on my part. im not a fanart hater, just didnt want it to be my main "thing"
